That title to me seems totally surreal. I cannot believe I am 18 weeks pregnant already. Obviously i have a lot to update you on......
My due date is 11th Feb 2019, I am alone partner wise during this pregnancy adventure, but totally supported by my family and friends. My two older children Blake and Faith, are completely thrilled to be welcoming another sibling and cannot wait...... I get told daily!
My chronic pain from my Fibromyalgia is not easy right now, and I am having more bad days than good. I have had to stop my strong painkillers so I am just taking paracetamol for the pain. Mental health wise, I am doing okay so far, I am still on a low dose of anti depressant, but will monitor how I am feeling,
As for pregnancy symptoms they have been manageable, thank goodness!
~ Aversions to certain smells - perfumes, foods, cleaning products, toothpaste.
~ Sore breasts - Oh my goodness, ouch! I have also gone up two cup sizes already.
~ Headaches.
~ Hip and pelvic pain - this is normal for me, but the pressure is definitely new.
~ Hunger - I could eat all day long, I am always hungry.
~ Breathlessness - I am struggling with stairs and any slight incline walking.
I hope to do weekly updates from now on, I am so excited to take you on this journey with us.

School Morning Madness - Mummy tips to get you through it
Monday 22 January 2018
Be organised! I bet you laughed right? How obvious is being organised? Seriously though, the biggest thing i can suggest is to get as much done the night before as possible. Even the silly little things you think will take you minutes can end up taking a good half an hour with a screeching toddler attached to your leg!
1. Clock - Get the whole family in a routine of knowing what time you get up daily. There are many versions of toddler age appropriate clocks out there.
2. Have a morning routine chart, and stick to it! This is one of my biggest tips, even an older child needs a routine in the morning, and a visual to reference back to will really help.
3. Lunch - If your child has a packed lunch, do it the night before, and make it part of your routine to get your child to help prepare their lunch for the next day. It saves an early morning melt down because you have put ham in their sandwich and they wanted cheese!
4. The whole family can get into a routine of laying their clothes out the night before for the next day. Even the adults.
I hope these simple tips help you get through the mummy morning madness.
